Dear Djordje,

70+33,9%=103,9% (mathematical expectation: -3,9% ;-)..

I think your idea is interesting. The thing is the application of it in a real life form.
It is fascinating the prospect of creating a think-tank, named for instance as IDENTICAL-IDEAL-IDEA, when we can contribute our thoughts on projects. I will discuss that option also with the WEC in our following meeting.

WIN can and should be the host-nest of ideas like yours and we do agree that it is expected people with many abilities to be more productive and more inventive.

Concerning the legal apsect, copyrights and rights, WIN as a non-profitable organization can not be responsible for any registration or the copyright of the suggestions.

Well at least there is some expectation.
I always knew that high IQ people have unussual achievments.
Actually I have added my own crap to expected crap, thats why the numbers are seemingly strange.

Djordje

Hi Djordje,

I think there had been ideas with such a book project, with e-ink, meaning you have a small page with lcd in it, so that you have the feeling to have a real page, and you can browse.

But don't get yourself discouraged. Maybe you can develop an e-book and change some signifiant details to improve it.

For the project of the patents, I enjoy it mucho :-)

I think that the societies should be ideally contributing for intellectual development through journals, projects, sharing of knowledge.

I heard someething of a Mega International Learning Center (MILC) on http://campus.theultranet.com/MILC/login/index.php , but I am not sure what it is. Can someone tell me of that is from the Mega Society?

I would think it were cool if there were more projects like MIT's OpenCourseWare, or special online cursus for autodidacts.

Best wishes,
Robert

QUOTE (Christelle @ Mar 15 2006, 09:42 AM)
:-) Hello Robert

What is " MIT's OpenCourseWare" ?

Hello Christelle,

MIT Open Course Ware is a really a revolution. It's found at http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html

Welcome to MIT's OpenCourseWare:
Is a publication of MIT course materials
Does not require any registration
Is not a degree-granting or certificate-granting activity

It's university courses from the Massasschussetts Institute of Technology that are available for free. For instance I learned a bit of Math as an autodidact.

In the Math section of ocw.mit I found a complete math text book by Gilbert Strang on Calculus + the Study book and a book for the instructor. I "know" some guy from a networking site that is at Cambridge and had Mr. Strang as a professor once. laugh.gif

Then there is Kleitman, Daniel. Calculus for Beginners and Artists, which is a really great cursus for autodiacts based on a cursus told by Prof. Kleitman.

I like the fact that knowledge is made freely available. So one can learn at once own pace, and maybe start a study later on.

Other courses are interesting too, but some are not so well done, as they are not so good presented as the math section. Other topics are exam topics, cursus on different stuff etc. etc.

It's really great!

Yours,
Robert wink.gif

Today I have come up with an interesting idea.
Actually to add sort of foot counter to the snickers. It would measure the number of steps you have made and eventually convert steps into km by calculation average step lenght of a snickers user. That way you could see how long have you walked in that particular snickers or shoes which I think is an interesting idea or to see how many steps will snickers last.
What do you think about it?
Regards,
Djordje

It seems that the idea is already invented as friend told me, didn't check it though.
Well... Another one will be fresh...
